TESTIMONIES

SUCCESSFUL STORIES

I wanted my son to get the edge he needed to become a college basketball player. Coach Myson helped [David] by not only training him on the skill he needed to secure a scholarship, but he went as far as playing against him to make sure he was ready to perform in front of college coaches. I would recommend Hoops Univeristy to anyone who wants their son or daughter to develop or sharpen their skills.

Mark Muncy

Father of David Muncy, North Greenville University signee

You can search, but you'll never find a better trainer for your child. Stop wasting time and get going. You'll never regret it.

Melanie Hall

Mother of PJ Hall, Dorman High School

Ranked #1 In SC 2020 and #69 Nationally

We are so appreciative of you and all your hard work and positive energy. You are helping Nick transition to a guard and playmaker! We are looking forward to continued elevation of his game to make it to the next level. Nick is starting as a 7th grader on his middle school team. That would not have happened without your guidance and Nick's hardworking attitutde!!

We train student-athletes starting in the 4th grade.

It depends on exactly what you want and need.
The first session with us is completely free so that we can evaluate your athlete and give you a feel for how we operate.
Our prices range from $0-300.
You can learn more by visiting our programs page.

Sessions are officially 50 minutes but usually extend to 55 minutes.

Your trainee will receive 6 training sessions each month with our group basketball training package.
With our individual training package, your athlete will receive 4, 1-on-1 basketball training sessions.
We offer a mixture of 1-on-1 sessions (2 per month) and group sessions (4 per month) as well.
If you're interested in the mixture of 1-on-1's and group training sessions, please email us at Info@hoopsuniversitytraining.com and we will get you set up!

For our group training, we max the sessions at 10-12 trainees per session.
Once or twice per month, we will have sessions (namely the Train and Plays) that exceed this number because of scheduling discrepancies.
However, this should not diminish the quality of the training session. If it does, we're more than happy to make it right.

A typical session lasts no less than 60 minutes.
It begins with dynamic warm-up to prepare the body for the training session ahead.
Next, we’ll focus on skill development. More specifically, we’ll focus on the skill that you would like your son/daughter to improve.
After we finish the skill work, we conclude the session with game-like drills that work on the skill we just practiced in particular game situations.
Depending on the season, we may end the session by playing against each other.
And we always wrap the training sessions with film study so that we increase IQ, work smart, and work hard.

Yes, we offer discounts and package deals for registering for our monthly training packages. Our monthly training packages have a 60% discount (you will be enrolled in a monthly auto draft under this program).

If you register for a monthly training package, yes. Your card will automatically be drafted each month until you cancel your membership.

Email us at Info@hoopsuniversitytraining.com requesting to cancel your training package and we will cancel your package for you.

The difference between our group training and our Train & Plays is the focus of each session.
Our group training sessions mainly focus on skill development. These are drills to develop specific skills (shooting, passing, ball-handling).
Our Train & Plays mainly focus on competitive drills that will enhance the trainee’s game play. We also watch film after every game in order to increase the feedback loop and increase IQ.

Yes, you may use your training sessions however you please. You can use them all in 2 weeks, or space them out over the entire month.

No, your training sessions do not roll over into the next month. You will need to use all of the training sessions that are allotted each month. Please email Info@hoopsuniversitytraining.com if you believe to have a special case.
